SMPS Fort Worth Officers
SMPS Fort Worth has an enthusiastic and accomplished Board of Directors, led by Rachel Vogel, Business Development & Marketing for the Linbeck Group. She and other board members bring the vision and energy required to create a highly successful and innovative chapter. The board has begun to pave the way for their unique brand of “Fort Worth Style,” eager to raise the bar and become a standout organization. The chapter vision includes a strong commitment to community outreach, both philanthropic and educational.

Rachel Vogel is in Business Development & Marketing for the Linbeck Group, LLC, a major construction management firm. Prior to joining Linbeck, Rachel held the position of Business Development & Marketing for an international architectural firm. Rachel has served on the board for many prominent organizations, including the Southwest Chapter of Corenet Global, Habitat for Humanity – Women’s Steering Committee, SMPS Dallas and the Frisco Arts Council, just to name a few. She graduated from the American College of Business in 1988 and has been in the A/E/C community for over 18 years, providing a range of services in the residential, commercial, engineering, architecture and construction markets.
“I want to sincerely thank and acknowledge the Dallas SMPS Chapter, as well as everyone who has helped make the Fort Worth chapter a reality,” said Rachel.
Cindy Sears-Clemmons, CPSM

A 2009 SMPS DFW Pacesetter Award recipient, Cindy Sears-Clemmons, CPSM, has 15 years of experience in the A/E/C industry as a marketing professional. She has extensive experience with the SF 330 and its predecessor, the SF 255/254. As an inside sales manager with Jacobs Engineering Group, Cindy provides leadership for large, national proposals to federal clients and provides support, oversight and technical review of federal proposals from the firm’s nationwide offices. In this role, she develops standards and content for use by other offices in preparation of the SF 330.
Extremely active in SMPS, Cindy serves as a mentor in the Mentor-Protégé program, moderated a CPSM study group and co-chaired the SMPS Awards Gala for the DFW Chapter in 2009.
Lindsey Kubes

Lindsey Kubes serves as marketing communications coordinator for Freese and Nichols, Inc., where she develops proposals, SOQs, presentations and marketing pieces, and has led the development of editorial standards for the company’s style guide. She also has extensive experience with corporate publications. Lindsey is a graduate of Texas A&M University.
Lindsey is excited about the increased opportunities for industry-specific marketing programs with the new chapter, including continuing education, certification and networking.

Tracy Ellen Smith is the founder and President of Creative Design Resources, Inc., a marketing and design firm based in Fort Worth, Texas. Since its inception in 2002, Creative Design Resources has developed practical, yet innovative solutions for clients’ everyday business design needs as well as award-winning logos, marketing materials and special projects for clients nationwide. The firm’s services include business-to-business marketing, design and related project management services, custom academic maps and Adobe Illustrator and InDesign software training.
Before starting Creative Design Resources, Tracy was the marketing director for Kennedy Wilson, a Dallas commercial real estate firm. Prior to that, she worked in national business recruitment for the City of Fort Worth with the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and public affairs for the Fort Worth District of the US Army Corps of Engineers.

A 2009 Fort Worth Business Press “40 Under 40” honoree and a 2009 SMPS DFW Rising Star Marketing Achievement Award Winner, Jennifer serves as Director of Business Development for Baird, Hampton & Brown, Inc., where she develops and implements the firms business development and marketing programs, recruitment marketing and other corporate initiatives, such as philanthropic programs. Jennifer holds a B.S. in organizational management and development, and enjoys volunteering her time with Fort Worth-area charitable organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, where she is a Big Sister, and the Fort Worth Ryan Family YMCA, where she serves on the board as membership chair and campaign division leader for the “Step Up For Kids” Annual Campaign. “I am truly excited about the networking, business development and educational opportunities available through the Fort Worth chapter,” said Jennifer. “I am also extremely proud of our chapter’s commitment to making a difference through community outreach.”
Joan U`ilani Meeks

Joan U`ilani Meeks has worked in all facets of construction – business development, marketing, preconstruction, estimating and operations – and now performs business development services for sustainable products. Currently, her main client is Synthetic Grass Pros, which has contracted Joan to increase market share for LEED projects. In her career, Joan has worked on commercial projects valued at over $700 million, including her favorite, the Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine.
In 2003, she created the ABC Women’s Forum Committee to help other women succeed in the construction industry. In 2005, she was a finalist for the Magnolia Award from Associated Builders and Contractors, and also received the Excellence to Commitment Award from JE Dunn Construction Company of Texas. In addition to SMPS, Joan is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Fort Worth, U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and the Fort Worth Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
Rick Evans

The marketing manager at JEA/Hydro Tech Engineering & Surveying, Rick Evans has an extensive background in marketing and management in the hospitality and travel industry. He was on the opening team of a major resort in Waikiki and opened two condominium hotels as general manager.
Before joining JEA/HydroTech in 2006, Rick served with the American Red Cross, where he was a member of a pilot program to include first aid products designed to mirror skills taught during training. Start up efforts included preliminary collateral, work place presentations and coordination with other regional chapters.
Rick is very pleased to be a member of the first Board of Directors of the SMPS Fort Worth chapter and is looking forward to meeting other marketing professionals and providing innovative learning and networking opportunities.
Nolan Bradshaw

Currently an associate at Komatsu Architecture, Nolan Bradshaw works on a large variety of commercial projects as a project designer. His experience encompasses government, healthcare, and hospitality; to name a few. Nolan graduated from Texas Tech University with masters in architecture, as well as an MBA.
Nolan is actively involved in the Fort Worth community, where he donates his time to charities such as the Ronald McDonald House, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Habitat for Humanity. He is also a member of the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame- Young Guns and The Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council- Young Leaders Council.
Nolan is excited for the opportunity to direct membership for SMPS. He looks forward to integrating AEC professionals within the marketing community.
