The Internet of Things

How the Internet of Things is Affecting Buildings Today

The Internet of Things (IoT) is the network of physical devices, vehicles, and other items embedded within electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and network connectivity which enable these objects to collect and exchange data. Sound confusing? Come to the SMPS Fort Worth November luncheon to hear how The IoT is affecting how architects design their buildings, how many items in the building are on or moving toward the networks, and how to protect those networks.
