The Fort Worth chapter’s tagline for programs and education – Learn, Lead, Grow, Achieve – communicates our focus on timely content, domains of practice, audience and philanthropy.
Programs and educational events alternate and are developed to attract high-level principals and business development professionals. Beginning in 2010, we will offer a quarterly “Training at Night” series event geared toward addressing the six domains of practice*. In addition, Webinars based on these domains are offered every month, and a Webinar library is available for member rental.
We feel it is important to offer programs and educational events that the members of our industry are hungry for. To ensure that we are feeding the needs of our audience, we’ll give attendees the opportunity to evaluate each event, conduct quarterly surveys and hold an annual SMPS Member Forum in order to help determine future events.

Networking is the best way for business developers to help increase name recognition for their firms and stay in touch with what’s new in the industry. Currently, SMPS offers a monthly networking happy hour where you can connect with colleagues in your field, meet your SMPS board and learn more about what SMPS has to offer. We invite you to attend and bring your principals, associates, marketing staff, team partners and colleagues and network with us, “Fort Worth Style!”

As part of the architecture, engineering and construction community, we have the unique benefit of being the first to witness the birth of new designs and renovations in our area. SMPS Fort Worth offers quarterly site tours of some of the most interesting projects in Tarrant County.
