He joined the University of Texas at Arlington in 2007 as the Assistant Vice President for Facilities & Campus Operations. The Office of Facilities Management has 270 employees and an annual project, operating, and energy budget totaling approximately $35 million. At UTA, this Office is responsible for the integrated functions of all building maintenance, operations, renovations and new construction.
