When Bad PR Happens to Good A/E/C Firms – A presentation on Crisis Communication and Management

August 6, 2020 | 11:30 - 1:00 PM

How can your firm plan and prepare for a potential crisis?

How do you manage the communications aspects of a crisis when one occurs?

How can you recover from a crisis that’s damaged your firm’s reputation?

Please join us August 6 for a thought-provoking presentation and interactive discussion on crisis communications planning, crisis management and reputational recovery with strategic communications expert Colby Walton, President at Cooksey Communications.

Among other topics, this informative session will cover:

  • Examples of real-world crises in the news
  • How other firms elsewhere handled crises well, or not so well
  • Types of crises you may face: from everyday risks to the virtually unimaginable
  • The critical components of a smartly designed crisis communications plan
  • Crisis communications training: preparing your spokespersons to handle adversity
  • Beyond the plan: crisis communications tools and templates you can develop now
  • When the crisis hits: containment and mitigation strategies
  • Monitoring the conversation and adjusting your strategy in real time
  • Post-crisis strategies for restoring your firm’s reputation
