Alison Leonard

Alison Leonard is Associate Vice President at CannonDesign in Dallas, and a nationally recognized leader in healthcare planning and design.  An evidence-based design certified architect, she is primarily focused on creating an exceptional patient experience and specializes in mental and behavioral healthcare design. Alison looks to the psychology of space and human behavior to design innovative treatment spaces for healing.  She is a member of American Institute of Architects, Women in Healthcare North Texas chapter and an active member of the AIA Dallas Columns Magazine Committee.

 

Becky Tucker

Becky Tucker currently serves as the president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth and Clearfork.  As president, Becky leads the overall management and strategic programming of Texas Health Southwest and Clearfork hospital operations which consists of 263 combined critical, medical, surgical, and emergency beds, 1,400 employees, 650 active medical professionals and almost 100 volunteers.

In addition, Becky is a Fellow with the Texas Hospital Association (THA) and the past chair for THA’s Leadership Development Council.  In 2012, Modern Healthcare named Becky as one of it’s Up and Comers in Healthcare.  In 2014 she was selected as one of Fort Worth Business Press’ 40 Under 40 and was awarded the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council's Young Healthcare Executive of the Year award. Lastly, in 2019 Tucker was awarded the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Fort Worth Woman of the Year and was recognized as a Fort Worth Business Press Healthcare Hero in 2020.

 

Richard Watters, PE

Richard is a principal and senior mechanical engineer at Baird, Hampton & Brown in Fort Worth. As an active member of BHB’s leadership team, Richard manages some of the firm’s multiple long-term engineering projects, including healthcare, commercial, oil and gas, retail, and municipal. He is experienced in sustainable design, energy studies/audits, design-build, HVAC, plumbing, and medical gas design along with construction administration. Richard has been named one of the Top 40 Engineers Under 40 in the country by Consulting-Specifying Engineer Magazine and one of the Top 20 Engineers Under 40 in our region by Engineer News-Record magazine.

In the office, his hands-on style has helped him successfully find solutions for clients and mentor young engineers. Outside of the office, Richard has been active with student organizations of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers as a guest speaker; he also travels back to Texas A&M to guest lecture and has sponsored projects for the construction science department at Texas A&M.
