Photography Basics: Best Practices for the Amateur Photographer
As marketers, we all need quality photography, whether for headshots or projects. Join award-winning photographer, Adam Kilbourne, FSMPS, CPSM, to learn the basics skills to take usable shots for those times when you can’t hire a professional. The best part is you don’t need a big expensive camera to take great photos.
During the first session, Adam will discuss the most important camera settings, and talk about composition for portraits and architecture. It’s not necessary, but feel free to have your own camera handy so you can follow along. Adobe Lightroom can handle 95% of your post-processing needs. We’ll go through the basics to help you get that extra bit of wow in your photos. You can follow along with your own computer. Adam will share his favorite resources that have helped him improve his photography skills over the years.
Hands-on Workshop: Photo Processing & Editing with PhotoShop and Lightroom
During the second session, you'll learn more about post-processing and editing in Lightroom and Photoshop. Using your own computer software, you'll be able to dive into these tools more deeply with Adam's guideance. Workshop attendees will learn how to take the photography from the field to the computer and make it really shine!
